Angry Transport/Shipping blocks on suspension

Drove my brand new car off the lot and after about 10 miles i started to feel like the suspension is extremely stiff. So i call the sales agent to ask if this was normal. He responds by gaslighting me and saying of course a M class car is going to have a stiff suspension. He follows up by asking me which highway I was taking on the way home. After I told him the name of the highway, he said that the roughness I was feeling was because of the shitty road. Buyers remorse was really kicking in and I was just really unhappy with me purchase after just buying a 100k car. So, I get home and start inspecting the suspension, turns out they left the transport blocks in the car. My back hurts and I have a major headache.

The dealer is promising to make it right by having the car shipped back so they can remove the blocks. I am very frustrated with this experience and low-key just want to remove the blocks by myself or have it done locally. Does anyone know how to remove these blocks? Is it easy?

Tldr: dealer messed up, how do i remove shipping blocks?

Do you not have a local dealer? Any dealer local to you can remove it.

Getting the dealer to cover paying a third-party to do it is also an option.

At least they're willing to make it right by having the car shipped back to remove those pesky transport blocks. If I were you, I'd reach out to local car mechanics or car enthusiasts in your area. That's how I found Three Movers, btw. There is always someone local who could help you.

Without a lift or at least jacking each corner it will probably be difficult if not impossible to remove but they pop out and are essentially 2 halves like a clasp around the strut rod. Agree it’s crazy that this is still going on.

Willing? They are required to! They didn’t complete PDI properly and are at fault. They should be doing more than that if they honestly value their customers.

Yea so update: I had a "local shop" (aka "my garage") remove the blocks and the dealer reimbursed me for the cost.

The car rides like butter now compared to day 1. I am much happier and have zero remorse for buying this car.
