Gotcha. Thanks for this. I will totally understand if this questions is difficult to answer, but I'm wondering if you could roughly estimate what the overall reduction in cabin noise as a result? Would you say 10% or so? Thanks in advance.

Honestly for me, I didn't notice much of a difference at all. Granted, I have a full aftermarket exhaust...

If your exhaust is stock, I would say 80% noise reduction. It was such a change that when I turned it off before I'd modified the exhaust (valve controller first, and then Dinan x-pipe), it was too quiet...turned it back on until I did the mods. Now turned it back off. Much better.

I did the software update today and it restored my ASD. When I went back in with BimmerCode to code it off again I noticed there are two ASD sections (hadn’t noticed before). One is just basic ASD. The. Below is a section for M3/M4 that has separate options for Startup, Burbles, etc. what has everyone done with the additional ASD options? Have you also turned those off?

Does Bimmercode allow coding the exhaust button so it is always on/off at car startup ?
My M3 is still on the way but I'm already exploring the options |

Are you talking about the center console button? I believe that stays in the way you set it, either on or off. M1/M2 are able to turn it on or off. You can set them to be off, and press it off in non-M1/M2 efficient mode, and it should just always be off. Otherwise it's always on.

Any of the ENET OBD to Ethernet ones should work fine. You just need the right Ethernet adapter. Either get a Lightning one (MFi certified) if you're on a 14 or older, or any Ethernet to USB-C adapter if you're on a 15.
