Antidazzle coding!

I have just gotta say that I just got my 2023 G80 remotely coded and this antidazzle is absolutely amazing. If anyone hasn’t done this you gotta do it ASAP.

What did you notice first? Who did it?

I had it on my 2016 M4 (European spec) and loved it, but I am sure it has improved since then.

Details?

At first I was in a pretty lit area and so I didn’t notice it but once I turned onto a darker side street the lights started tunneling around the car in front! Then as an oncoming car passed the left turned off momentarily. I’ve seen it in videos but man in person is just next level. I had it done by Alex Alpine. Highly recommend him.

Will this work on all US spec G80/82 cars with LED laser headlights?

I believe you can just don’t get the benefit from the higher intensity laser light. Hopefully someone else might be able to chime in.

I wonder why that is. Seems like it would either work or not.

What did it cost and how can we reach out to them to get it done?

Need some help here.
I don’t mind paying for someone to code it but does it need windows or can I use macOS? I really don’t want to install a windows client in my Mac just for this.

I can code it myself via BimmerCode if there are directions out there too.

You need windows if you do it yourself or pay someone to do it with ESYS for the complete anti dazzle (ESYS gives access to the front camera module KAFAS to help with beam tunneling which is not available in BimmerCode) . BimmerCode gives you 95% and it’s doable on iPhone. Downside if you pay someone you’ll have to get it done again if you update the car software.

If you want the bimmercode solution:

Third option is protools but you will need android:

Thanks! This was super helpful. I’m gonna try the BimmerCode route first. I’m fine with the 95% if that means I can recode it later and not rely on a 3rd party. With all the storms out here in the west, anything brighter will def help!

Do you need laser lights or is this for both?
