Build Week 08 - MY23

I am week 8 and my car its been at the port since April 2

It was in QC for 3.5 weeks, waited 6 months for an allocation, so deaperate that not sure if I will do the full PCD or just the New Owner Experience...
Called today and it is still in the port waiting

Dang that’s crazy… and I thought 6 weeks between production and ship was bad. Hope yours catches a ship soon too

Hopefully you get on the next round of ships which I believe start around the 20th. It will be worth the wait though so I would definitely do the PCD if you were already planning to.

I am planning on the PCD, but if doing the New Owners Drive Experience instead of the Full PCD will get me the car 1 or 3 months earlier then its worth IMO
Also the next rate hike is in May so I would like to be ahead of it...
Again, I put my order on Aug 1 22, allocation in Feb with build week 8, stuck in QC for 28 days and now at the port since Apr 2.... Im desperate!!!!!

Must be a stop sale of some sort. I’d check with a genius or your CA to find out what it is and when they’ll have the part. What’s your car/build?

It made it this morning, you were right... I checked last night and it was still at the port, this morning: boom!

Me too! I am on the brooklands, expected to make it brunswick(for PCD delivery) on May 5th. We may end up picking up the same time.

I need to figure which boat I am in, my CA said PCD has been unpredictable lately, some people waits 4-6 weeks and others 2-3, who knows!!!

My car arrived at Brunswick April 1st. Cleared VPC April 6th. They gave me a date of April 27th to pick up the car at PCD.

I hate it that some of you Week 8 guys are still waiting for your cars.

I was Week 7 and lucked out in a number of ways, including getting my car on 3/28/23.

But patience will eventually be rewarded: my M4 is a beast!
