Hey guys I’m in bucks county and my g80 is on order. Maybe a hard ask but is anyone in the area have the carbon fiber buckets and willing to meet up somewhere and let me sit in them hahah. I have looked around for weeks to no avail. Don’t wanna spend 4500 sight unseen. I mean they look amazing but have no idea on comfort and fit. Thanks!

Search for used cars at dealers. I found a CSL at a local porsche dealer to sit in them. FYI, they are friggen awesome. 🤩

They are awesome. I got mine without ever sitting in them.
However I must warn you, you’ll have to figure out your technique to get in and out.

Truth. Everytime I try some thing slightly different…..try to keep my weight off the armrest or wheel. What’s your move?

I looked at used cars as well and no luck. owell if I can't find one ill be ok with the standard seats.

If it’s your daily then yeah get seat time in before you choose. If it’s not your daily, then go with the carbon buckets and if you don’t like it, I am sure you can swap with someone who wants them.

BMW of Mount Laurel, NJ has an M2 in the showroom when I went on Friday with the buckets. It was unlocked so you could probably check it out if you make the trip up

Thanks! an awesome member Damsure let me sit in his and while i do love the comfort i am stuck on tartufo as a color so went with the standard.

I purchased the seats without sitting in them and I don’t regret this decision at all. I think people definitely over exaggerate on the comfort/discomfort of the buckets. They are worth it in my eyes. If you’re able bodied and not on the bigger side you should have no issues. As mentioned, the most difficult part is exiting the vehicle.

yeh i really liked them but no tartufo was the selling point for me. I even tried like someone else on here to get the tartufo buckets but they didnt even entertain my ask....
