Finally found the time and did this. The installation looked easy on the video tutorials but my god were the wire clips difficult to undo. Ended up leaving one in place for fear of breaking it and worked around a dangling trunk liner.

Anyway, these are Bayoptiks GTS OLED tail lights in clear smoked white, and I’d give the fitment a 7/10. Not perfectly flush like OEM, but also not enough to notice even up close, and the water seal is sound. That said, I found the result (in my biased opinion) absolutely stunning paired with Dravit Grey. The goal was to get the whites/blacks/greys to match with the car’s color configuration. They look very high quality IRL and photos just won’t do them justice when turned on. Added bonus was zero additional wiring or routing - straight up swap, plug & play. Uploaded several angled views so you can decide for yourself if this is something you’d consider. What are your thoughts?

So I ended up going with matte PPF over Dravit and recently got it back from the shop. I always wanted FDG, but with how fragile frozen paints sound and since FDG wasn't available on the selector this year, this was the closest I could get. I'm actually really happy with it because it somewhat muted the gold fleck but not entirely. You also still get color changes that make Dravit. On the overcast day this weekend it looked totally different than the sunny pictures. Hope this helps someone that might be on the fence on matte PPF over Dravit. No regrets here but not for everyone I would think.

Took 1,5 month to get into trouble, can’t have nice things.

Unfortunately it happens quite a lot to expensive cars in Sweden. Professionals - they work quickly and ship off to Baltic countries or former Yugoslavia within a day. Probably left the country already.
Clean job, no damages to the paint (but probably scratches underneath where they put that concrete thing…)

Insurance is great - 100 % coverage (small excess) so that’s not going to be a problem. It’s more about all the work with taking it to the dealership etc.
