G82 Curved screen display issues

Is anyone having this issue. 2024 G82. Only happens in the main display and the splash screen when shutting the car off. 400 miles to the break in service. Hopefully it’s a software fix being it’s not happening on all screens.

Bring it to the dealership so they can reach out to BMW. Most likely a software issue and since the 2023s are pretty new to switch over the curve screen, not many people will have this issue.

Did the first service at 1200 miles today. Software did not fix the screen issue. Dropping the car off next week so they can look further into it.

Looks like some sort of signal issue.

Might be faulty wiring.

I had a curved display that would keep intermittently showing a static screen on the CID display, no matter what screen or source was on. I had just programmed the car days before as well for a failed RSU. I replaced the curved display and it fixed it.

Thanks for the info. Car is at the dealer today. They seen the screen acting up in person on drop-off so hopefully they can get this fixed. Is the screen replacement a big job?

This should 100% be covered under warranty though.

Yes there shouldn't be any questions about it not being covered besides the fact that it showed signs from day 1 then progressively got worse.
