dash help

Hi guys. Are there any other settings for the dash. In “m mode” sport(see attached) the heads up display looks cool but the dash doesn’t. In “m mode” road option dash looks good but heads up display doesn’t. Are there any other display options etc.?

The HUD is surprisingly unconfigurable in iD8 compared to 7. I really with we could get the sport view in road mode, for example, or remove the blue background, but I don't think it's possible.

I’ve got id7 and it allows you to configure the instrument cluster to be the same fo all modes ( as opposed to separately eco pro, comfort and sport variations), not sure if id8 does the same but if it does, might be worth a try
In id7 I think this was under display settings

Assuming you are aware you can change the 1 extra display element in each view (map, media, tires, gforce, etc) then there are no other configuration options. I personally think the sport mode display looks good though.

Thanks for that I like it so much better. As for the – if it was more evenly spaced out, that would be a huge improvement.

I find it surprising you can’t have the tach in HUD while in m mode road.

As stated earlier, HUD was more configurable in iD7. It's one of several bits of functionality that was lost in iD8. Overall, I like 8, but the backward step of the lost functions that were in prior iD versions going back many, many years are a mystery to me.
