Looks great! I don't mind the bigger grill but wish it was more horizontal rather than vertical.

I think it looks great, it fixes my complaint about the height of the grilles.

Anything is better than the stock "bucky beaver" look.

These are nice, but I prefer the Priordesign version.

Everything below the grille looks exponentially worse outside of the ACC sensor placement. I can definitely see where people are coming from with disliking the design but is this sort of stuff really an improvement? lol Put a front plate on the redesign to be consistent with the above pic of the actual G80 and it would look absolutely awful.

This looks awful and will never work in real life 3d...

So many of these "redesigns" show little understanding that real life is in 3d. They are designed to kinda work but only in one 2d angle

Some interesting POVs. I think it looks more aggressive than the actual design and does a nice job of being new and different without the grills being overbearing.

I wonder how many of these designs actually make it to production. I would imagine it would be a very expensive process and the sale price for these will be super high. Also I would imagine with all the sensory/cameras that are involved in the front bumper area that warranty claims could come into play also the more I think about it. And yes you can say its not the components its just the body but I would be curious how BMW sees it. I guess we will have to wait and see!

This is a cool looking render though!

The smaller grill is fine but it way over compensates the rest of the front as a whole and those oversized intakes! That grill itself is good, but the rest is way too much and for me, it just looks worse as a result.

I think it sucks, original will always be better than the garbage "redesigns" getting posted here.

I don't understand all these "redesigns" that people try to do. The current design is here to stay for a long time guys even after the LCI. Just get used to it already and stop being in denial.

The "butt hurt" people are those that can't accept the new design

This render does a good job of emphasizing how the new grille gives the illusion of a tall and narrow stance from the front. It really is a terrible design. Personally, I like this render as it's far more aggressive and gives the car the wide and low appearance it is otherwise missing. I'll never know if the G8x could overtake me on the road because I'd be inclined to slow down and move over just to get it out of my rear view.

Gee... I’m sure glad the very first ever BMW kidneys didn’t give any illusion of being tall and narrow from the front. Can you imagine the “terrible” design that the “enthusiasts” ragged about in 1933?

Put the G20 grille on that car and see how ridiculous it would look against the rest of the design. Thanks for proving my point.

It being here for a long time is all the more reason to redesign. There are a lot of people who might buy a G8X if aftermarket comes up with a good solution.

Personally, I think the simple ones with an 8 series grille look the best.
