I think it's you chief...well the startup noise was annoying like in the F80 but the revs sounded nice and deep unlike the F80.

I can't wait to hear one once the aftermarket gets ahold of it and installs an exhaust. I'm lucky enough to live in a state that only requires a rear plate so the goofiness of figuring out where to put the license plate in this whole getup isn't an issue in my situation.

Does anyone know when US pre-orders start and whats involved. I usually purchase a vehicle once it's released or right off the showroom but so I never ordered one during a pre-order. I'm stoked!
It looks amazing inside and outside. I understand the design is aggressive and a bit different than usual BMW lines but I believe it is outstanding! For the plate mount I'm sure BMW will have the option to mount the plate on the side so it won't interfere with the kidney grill. Well Done BMW!

Can someone please let BMW know how much better EQ midpipes are? I don't think they know what active autowerke and others have been up to.

I cannot understand all the "sounds better than S55" comments ... this and the other vids for me sound at best the same ... and in parts worse. Newcarmustbebetter-itis??

This definitely sounds like the F8x. Maybe slightly deeper but don’t fool yourself it’s pretty much the same sound.

Not liking the rattling sound during cold start. Sounds cheap and broken, and I'd be embarrassed to start my car.

This was revealed last year with the x3m/x4m exhaust. Not the best sounding Bmw but it's an improvement over the s55.

Lol at cold start. Sounds like horse sh*t. Under revs it sounds a lot better than the F8X. I’m cool with that, didn’t expect much in this regard.

Anyone notice the front turn signals? Not sure how I feel about them using half of the angel eyes instead of the top swoop blinker that connects them in many of the newest laser modules.

Are people actually thinking this start up sounds good?
What's up with the fluttering sound?

From the testing videos from Nurbergring, they seem to sound better than S55, but here I'm not so sure anymore.

Also this cross-eyed LOL

Sounds better than the f80 with revs but idle : startup is awful but it's probably not warm.... so will reserve judgement for later. The x3m sounds good so not too worried.

I think the cost is appropriate and isn't a huge jump from prior gen.
