Give me a fake M badged 340i over these ugly things any day. I would actually be embarrassed to drive these cars with that front end, and I have owned every M3 besides the e30

Are those floating calipers in the rear? With 6-pot Carbon Ceramic in the front?

It sounds like you want it because it's "new" not because it's better because let's face it, it's not better

This video most correctly explains the true design heritage of the M4 and M3 as well as the grills.

These cars are awesome and make their predecessors look so dated.

I also found that super weird nowadays, even the 400k amg gt black series have similar setup. I don't doubt the effectiveness of these brakes but it just looks kinda unbalanced.

So I am still out to lunch on this car. I am over the front grill thing. After yesterday it does look much better than the artist renderings. The side view of the car on the M4 looks fantastic to me. The rear is is not better than my F82 but appealing to me only because its different. The performance of the new G series, however, doesnt wow me over my F82 especially knowing after 1st/2nd year I take almost a 20% hit in depreciation off of a car that will be upgraded close to $100K. So I feel like this may be the same situation I was in with my e46 M3 where I did not see a need to go replace it with the e92 because of very limited design improvements (actually thought e46 looked better), better road feeling with e46, and slightly modest performance improvement.

They look really fantastic, but the grill is still odd looking. Not sure if it's the size or the shape, or both.

Naturally the F80 is showing it's age. But paying 80k - 90k for a well specced car and "getting used to it" don't got together in my opinion.

Pleasantly surprised that it looks a lot better in these vids than it does in the photos. UK price of £75k for the M3 Comp RWD is a little pricier than I expected and makes me think the AWD version will be closer to £80K.

Am I the only one who thinks the M3 suits the new front better than the M4, on the 3 it looks properly badass.
