I haven’t really noticed a difference except when I pull up my parking button with the 360 cameras a menu is now invisible. Also I haven’t really noticed a difference with shifting NOISE..however I have a feeling the shifting with the paddle has been maybe slightly improved. Idk my opinions.

I updated my work iphone today (would never touch an iPhone otherwise) and it took longer than the M3 did.

Sure but an ios update includes the sw download and that can vary depending on your wifi connection, also if you are on a recent phone it doesn't take longer than 10 mins to update. In this case the sw is already downloaded to the phone from the internet and the upload from phone to car took 20 mins and the actual flashing took 30 mins. I assume its running NVRAM and not mechanical storage so not sure why the startup takes so long.

No it literally took my phone 20 mins to restart and do the install, the update was already downloaded. It predownloads just like the BMW. In fact while the iPhone updated it was completely unusable whereas I drove to work while the BMW updated in the background.

The update won’t apply unless you are in park. Idrive shuts down, updates and restarts. Not sure how you were driving while the update was being applied, I think you mean it uploaded from your phone to the car while you drove.

Anyone with a Euro / UK spec car has gotten any updates recently?

I'm running 07/2022.50 since late summer 2022, and it seems to be exactly the same update described here (faster upshifts, shift sound etc).

My 23 M3Cx was in for service and when I got it back I noticed the climate control was different. The way the heated and ventilated seats is what gave it away. Use to be Low Med, High, Very High or something like that, it is now levels 1,2,3 etc. Car also sounds different. Could also be that I was out of it a couple days and a 330 is much more timid.

Not sure what else changed, will need to check it out later.
