When will MyBMW app work with Android?

Guys, it's so annoying that the My BMW app does not even start up on my Android phone... does anyone here know the plan when will My BMW be compatible on Android again or I have to use my wife's iphone to access it?

What's the problem? My phone key works, remote starting, see status, unlock, find vehicle etc. Using a Samsung S21 Ultra.

What version of Android do you have, and what phone? Compatibility is more complicated for Androids than iPhones.

I have the Samsung Note 10+ 5G, Android 11, I can't get pass the login page, keep giving me errors, I had no issue a couple of months ago and my other iphones.

I would uninstall the app and try again. Also make sure login works on the my garage bmw web site. I had to reset sometimes on iOS when I switched phones. It works on my galaxy z fold 3.

Yea tried that many times, still getting unsupported authentication method error...

I thought there are other Android users here are having the similar problem, may be it's just me...

Also before uninstalling, kill the app and the. Go into settings and delete the apps data. I found that uninstalling sometimes does not delete the app data.

Thats because only the Samsung S21 series is operational (Samsung brands) currently with the digital key and a few Google phones.

Im in the same boat with a Note 10 + 5 Gizzle.... sucks

Thanks, I knew it... and worst thing is I am planning to upgrade to the Samsung Fold Z 3... which will not be compatible neither... sucks!!!

Edit: @Driggett mentioned above his Fold Z works... Driggett can you confirm both the app and the digital key work on the Fold Z? Thanks.

I dont see the advancements in the S21 great enough to swap just yet. I am though looking into what you mentioned.

The Note 10+ 5G is the longest phone (tenure wise) Ive ever had.

You need to set the default Samsung internet browser.

I think it's honestly an odd issue with Chrome. I have to install Firefox (probably works with others like the Samsung browser, but I've always done it with Firefox), set it as default, load the MyBMW app, log in, and then I can switch back to my browser of choice. Not sure why but...it works. Only required if I get logged out of the app. Otherwise 100% of the functionality works and I even set up the digital key on the phone (Pixel 6) this weekend, works perfectly.

It's a browser problem. Are you using Chrome? I'm at work and don't have time to find the thread, but set the default browser to the Samsung browser and try it
