Are the standed LED headlights, matriix led's
I am considering a new UK spec 2023 M4 Competition Cabriolet.
Are the standard LED headlights, the matrix style that can keeps the headlights on main beam but can switch off certain LED’s to avoid blinding other drivers. Or do they just change to dip when another car is noticed? I know the upgraded visibility pack, laser lights will do something similar however I’m just wondering about the standard LED headlights. |

As Tubes23 says. BMW tech is different to the way VAG implement matrix lights on Audi etc. They are adaptive in so far that they hide the beam from oncoming traffic but I believe they use a mechanical approach.
Laser lights are being discontinued and MY24+ will implement a matrix set up similar to the G20 LCI. |
