Its week of production finish....i was week 16 and i got my VIN 10 days before that and car finished production in week 16

This correct I. Genius has been saying otherwise - they give you the estimated week and then say you should get the VIN # that week. I am week 20 and got my VIN a few days ago with a production date listed as May 6th which will most likely be a production completion of week 20.

Correct. Build week is the week the car is finished. Normally!!

I think Genius have been telling otherwise so that people can stop calling them for updates. Production week and date have always been week / date of completion.

BG / Fjord Blue extended

I spec'ed Fjord Blue Extended in my initial build (then for week 8) back in January and my build week disappeared entirely. I went with basic black and now I am jealous.

Saw a BG M3 on the road yesterday and loved it. If I get bumped to MY23 (still status 112 for week 20; no joy, no VIN yet). I likely will change my build to BG, CF throughout, and full Silverstone/Black leather.

Thanks! I am pretty excited about the grey on blue. MY23 is starting to feel more like it for me too as my production week keeps getting pushed back

Following. I just stumbled upon this thread -- found out as of today I am build week 19 and status 112. Hoping I didn't mess things up by trying to change to 826m bicolor wheels on April 21, but who knows? Wheels should be the easiest to swap out I would guess. No status 150 or VIN yet.......

I wouldn’t change a thing if you want to stay in W19! It doesn’t seem to matter what the change, any change seems to move your build week.

My CA told me don't change anything once you are 112 . So I didn't and I'm 150 and hoping to move another spot soon .

I don’t think my change was able to go through which may be a blessing in disguise. The GM said he had to email someone higher up than him at corporate, and then that person had to go another person higher. Who knows. Still at Build week 19, status 112. For all I know, it could be the individual aluminum trim…..people in build week 20 already have VIN#’s.

So do many of us in week 19. If you don’t have you vin by Friday I’d call the geniuses and check your build week.

Thanks. Btw, does anyone know what the red “(I)” designates immediately following the black 7-digit production number? I noticed this when the dealer was looking the build status up on his monitor.

I can't help you with the "(I)" but I have a red "(S)" after my production number and I was wondering the same thing. I have individual paint as part of my spec.

Yesterday. It looks like it’s about 7-9 days after you get your vin/150 that you see movement on the tracker.

I'm sitting at 150 for 7 days . Yesterday genius told me May 12th should be complete . He said that after 150 the next steps don't seem to update until right before completion for some reason .
