I highly doubt it would be an issue. Just open the door and show the cop the original color in the jam or under the hood. I doubt all the cars that are wrapped actually report a change. Plus I would not want that on my report showing a color change. Will lead people to think the car was repainted.

Most of the time, if the registration color doesn’t match the car, it is a clerical error at the DMV. Green usually gets input as gray and so forth. There are no citations in the State of Texas for having a wrap. The issues would only arise if it was unsafe, I. E. Tint on the brake lights making it hard to see at a distance required by law.
