that’s an awesome build tbh. you’re gonna love it. has all the options that are meaningful for a daily driver

Great choice going with full on leather, as Fiona is looking sharp with the red clippers on Dravit with black 826M.

I can fully understand not adding the M Drivers package, but why people wouldn't want to add a $900 (an extra $15-20/mo for a standard 60 month loan) M Drive Professional package (which, I remind you cannot be added after build, and adds *a lot* to the 2WD experience) escapes me every time.

I’m likely not gonna go on the track. I’ve thought about it but maybe you can help me understand why it is necessary outside of it just being 900$

You don't need the track to do a bit of slidey-slide

I just feel like the option is cheap enough for the few times were you think you might actually want it that I just don't see why you wouldn't go ahead and add it, even moreso the fact you can't do it after the fact.

I have a lot of run with it at level 6 in 2WD mode on some moist days (of course when there's no one around). Without it, 2WD is wide open with zero TC, which does not give me any confidence to have fun in those conditions.

My car is a week 8 production and will likely flip into 150 by Monday but I’d try to see if I can still add it first thing Monday morning

Well I tried. Looks like God didn’t want me to have it. My car flipped into production early this morning before the dealership opened

Haha. No big deal. 150 is better news than getting equipment changed. Also a chance it may have pushed your build back (unlikely). Congrats!

Yeah, I didn’t want mine to be pushed into 2025. Quick question: so my dealership definitely selected 19/20 M double spoke black 826m wheels. On paper it is listed as ZWH instead of 1U0 or 1T8(standard) but on the tracker bmw says A/G standard wheel and tire, I’m so confused.

The website is bugged, don't follow that. It's been like this for a while. You can ask your dealer to double-check your build but it's almost certainly correct.

Yup, it’s been bugged for most people. Mine is also still showing blue calipers and incorrect wheels.

Should show up correctly in BMW’s digital brochure, at least mine does. Albeit, none of the colors look right in BMW’s visualizer…

Once you have a VIN, you can put it at the end of this web address below and it brings up a brochure about your particular car - model, colors, features and digital representations of the car. I just wish the colors looked more accurate...oh well!

Huh, it worked for me soon after I got my VIN. I just added the VIN to the end of that web address and the brochure popped up. Maybe it takes a day or two to work.
