G80 LCI?

Hi All,

I ordered an M3 G80 last week (UK) and I've been told it's going to production end of April/May. Any ideas if it's going to be an LCI?

No! G82 (and regular 4 series) LCI production will start in March (BMW plant Dingolfing). Production of the G80 (and regular 3 series) LCI will start in June/July (BMW plant Munich).

I hope you got some discount because not an LCI (will become "outdated" within 2 months)...

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not so bothered about the LCI changes. However, current model will depreciate as soon as the LCI model is released. Is it possible to delay the build to later date?

You cant delay it, you can either cancel it or go with it.
sometimes there might be small chances to get delayed by itself if some options you've ordered with your build are not in BMW's stock and they need to wait for them, so in that case if it gets delayed by itself past July, it will "auto-transform" into a 2025 LCI model.
But if you cancel it and order a LCI there are now high chances you will wait much more until delivery because most probably there are others ahead of you in the dealership's ordering system which have put deposits for the LCI way before and they will get the allocations for the LCIs before you.

You can't delay the build itself, but they should be able to take your name off that build and put you back into the order bank. That doesn't guarantee you a future production slot, though.

Well...assuming you got the Lasers on pre-LCI, the LCI jumps by $1k.
And the day LCI is out, the brand new pre-LCI drops by $5k. So...
