Phone is a Sammy S20.

So in the last week I've been pushed both the 7/2022 car update AND a Google Auto update to coolwalk. Along the way something happened and I no longer get an incoming call notice on the headunit where I used to (nothing at all). I do still get one on the HU display but thats it. Any thoughts on fixing this I for the life of me cannot find or figure out the setting. It's possible I did something in Bimmercode as well as I had to revert my codings after 7/2022 update but I dont think so.

After that last OTA update, it seems that apple car play in both of my cars got really flaky. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it does not, notifications and calls are very spiratic when they work and do not work. I would reboot your IDrive and see if it helps

Yeah something is wrong, now its happening intermittently. Cannot figure it out.

If you have ID8, I know there is a setting for this in the displays app. Not sure about ID7.

I had it only enabled to pop up on the HUD, but then changed it to only show up in the center of the dash. It sounds like this is the issue your seeing so I hope this helps

I found that setting (I have ID7). It gives me the option of displaying "Entertainment" output on either dash or the HU display. What I dont see is an option for it to display in the bigger center screen like it used to. It's driving me crazy because I'm used to answering calls with the joystick/wheel on the center but now alerts on either the HU or dash need to be answered with the steering wheel.
