lol
Well, from what I can see, about 260 miles to go to the mouth of Chesapeake bay, and then about 150 miles from there to the port. The ship will probably slow down substantially once it enters the bay so those 150 miles will probably take over 8 hours! Orion's heading changed to 270degrees not too long ago, it has been in the low 250s since it left Europe. Whatever the case, by this time tomorrow Orion Highway should be moored at Baltimore so you guys should be able to get your cars in about a week if you are in the North East?! can that be possible! I have to wait until Tuesday for my turn to get off the ship!

Yep, ship finally moored a few hours ago. They should get whatever cars/cargo off the ship today so it can resume it's journey tomorrow.
Assuming all goes well at VPC, it should not take that long to start seeing these cars at the dealers. I am now waiting my turn, Orion H should reach Brunswick on Tuesday. Good luck with your cars, it's been a pleasure to share this journey with you guys!

Interesting...well the ship has moved to a different location from where it was at early this morning. Whatever the case, the schedule calls for OrionH to depart Baltimore on Sunday so now I am curious to see what happens.

This was a former steel plant on the harbor that has been converted for logistics. https://bimmerlife.com/2022/02/09/bm...-in-baltimore/ The ship appears to be in the correct spot for unloading to the VPC (with a short drive) as of early this morning. She is moored just upriver on the other side of the highway. Interestingly, the first docking location (Sparrow Point) is closer to the VPC than the current one. Our cars may have been taken off at the first stop? Last edited by ax978; 02-05-2023 at 07:40 AM.. |
