No need to apologize on behalf of Canadians or the Straight Pipes. They have a very good YouTube channel with over 1.1 million subscribers. How many do you have?
It was a quick walk around, filmed and live streamed on a phone, not a formal review. Check out their reviews on their channel below! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC86...nYL3ll2ZDgmsuA Last edited by Stephen5242; 10-07-2020 at 03:43 PM.. |

It's funny I thought the same thing when I first watched the video. These guys usually put out great content, but seemed a little unprepared for this one.
I will say though it was a good showcase for the car. Especially happy to hear that exhaust. Aftermarket and simple exhaust mods should be coming. I miss when we had lots of options like in the E9x generation. Made it more fun if you ask me. |

I suspect it was a last minute opportunity they just could not pass up. Looks like they just went with a phone to take advantage of the opportunity and to live stream it to get it out fast. They do great video quality on their reviews. I am sure they will do a proper review when they get a chance.
Glad they did what they could with what they had! |

Is everyone going to ignore the nerve wracking thumbnail on the video? Look at that door!

I thought I was sold on IOM Green M4 but now I'm leaning towards SPY M4.

Yuri is one of the least knowledgeable car reviewers I've seen but he's good at tech .. surprised he allowed such bad audio. haha. they do put out a lot more of content and get pretty far into the quirks and features which is nice ... i def would say I prefer the folks who put more emphasis on driving dynamics and comparos ... imo throttle house is way better at that... and I sure miss the motor trend head 2 head days

[QUOTE=DecemberStorm;26764060]so the cars snapped in Toronto area yesterday.. they are doing a live walkaround with them lol ... this is like the first non launch day impression video of the car?
[VIDEO] Looks good, not yet convinced to buy it. Interior though is so amazing. At this time 911>M3/M4. When I see and drive then will decide. |

Youtube was flooded with world premieres days ago, and they can't even get the facts right before going to this one. Thumbnail photo with door of the M4 banging the M3... Might as well be the last invite they get from BMW... poor choice. On a positive note we know that these guys were obviously not anticipating the new M3 M4 so coming from people who didn't care about the cars in the first place might result in a more objective opinions.

Yes this is a impromptu livestream, not their usual planned and edited video. They're not the best for driving dynamics (I prefer Chris Harris and SmokingTire for that), but they put together high-quality entertaining videos with good holistic cat assessments - design, tech, etc.

Yes that got me cringing too. Not vastly impressed with these two recently. Have unsubscribed. SavageGeese tend to do a better job in terms of technical detail and love the fact that they get the cars on a ramp to look at the bits you can't see as a buyer, although to be fair they can be a bit late to review things.
