Hey now. I grew up in IL so I know all about that sort of stuff. But yes, no need for the practical with regards to the tow strap on this car here in AZ. Unless I somehow found myself up in the high country during winter time (which I won't). 😃

OK, you get a pass as a former Illini (I lived in Chicago myself for 9 years); winter in Illinois can be brutal some days. Now we live in a place where I swear Subarus outnumber Toyotas and Hondas combined. But maybe I can install that tow strap bauble during summertime (pretending I'm driving a race car that escaped the track).

I thought at first maybe it was because all of my photos in the thread were linked directly to Flickr. I updated that but still no love. 🤷🏻

Had a couple of hours to kill this morning but unfortunately I was not blessed with sunny skies and it has been a rather cloudy/gray day here in Phoenix.

Was still able to get a couple of decent photos taken though.

@chicagofan00 this really deserves the front page over some others they've recently put up there. Your car is stunning and the amount of work/quality pics you have on there far outpaces the others. I hope you make it to the news, keep up the great pics! I love your car

Thanks! This color really does amaze no matter the lighting conditions. I'll need to get back to South Mountain again under sunny conditions.

I was at the port for the RAM retrofit for 12 days. Then another two days waiting to get on a carrier transport, and then it arrived at the dealership two days after that. You are in the home stretch! Can't wait for you to take delivery.

oh man you're lucky looks like you will be getting your car well before mine, im currently at port in germany. been a little over a week, called genius yesterday they said im still waiting for a boat.
