Hello,

Looking for a really good smelling car freshener or spray, something that smells unique and fits the car. I don’t wanna keep using little tree. Any recommendations?

I always liked the JDM brand Air Spencer, crisp and clean, not overwhelming or taxi cab stinky like the trees.

I don't mind the BMW stuff, but go check out Chemical Guys. They have a ton of good ones. Cash is pretty funny... can't say it's the best though.

I use these air fresheners called "drift". It's basically a wood block that gives off a scent and clips to the sun visor. They have a monthly subscription but honestly, one of these lasts several months so I usually order one and then cancel/suspend the subscription until I want to change it up again. They smell really good (if a bit strong at first) and look nice and premium.

I literally had this in my new 1995 Civic in high school. I found it again at some Japanese store at the mall and it sent me back to that time. The design hasn't changed in over 20 years and it still looks "modern". Crazy! I bought one for our SUV.

For the bimmer, though, no air freshener. Just keep the car clean and it will smell nice for a lifetime. I wipe the seats down after a workout, I clean any food spills immediately, and I never leave anything like food, sweaty clothes, or garbage in the car.

So I actually have a wooden diffuser air freshener that I had someone on Etsy make for me for my car. You add a few drops of aromatic essential oil to it every few months and it smells great. There are a few companies that do this and have become insta famous (frshlabs comes to mind, and I think drift is somewhat similar in concept). I love it because I can change up the scent when I want.
