I ordered mine (M3 Comp AWD) in january (the 17th). Delivery was for the first of august but my dealer in Belgium still doesn't have it!!

when my order went in the 4tg june they told me that the wireless charging should have delayed the delivery from august to november. Now that, even without the wireless charging, the delivery is late september, I think that this optional would delay our deliveries 5 months.

Hi guys-

Good to be back! I drove a 2018 Silverstone M3 for a few years and lately an Alfa Stelvio. Really like the Stelvio (my wife is going to drive it until next summer) but I'm excited to be back in an M3. I didn't want another rear-drive car here in Minnesota. Just not worth the hassle for those 4 months of snow.

So I was planning on another Stelvio QV this time until I realized the xDrive M3 was imminent. Very excited I called my dealer. Wait list for an allocation. Shitty. I need a car within 60 days.

Then my dealer says he's got a car on order that's unsold. Dravit Grey, Fiona/Black, and pretty much all the options I would order. I couple I wouldn't have, but it's pretty close. Down to the moonroof. It's just been built, should be here by end of the month or so. Build sheet below. I'm really excited for this car. Third M3. Great reviews of this car so far! I'm sure I'll be posting a ton of pics this time next month.

Me too! Did you confirm no holds or stop sales? Mine has neither. I'm now thinking they are holding up releasing them because of so many pending 2021 deliveries. Just a guess.

Good news. looks like cars from UK and Scotland delivered too. So Europe is getting 22s.

USA official launch date is still unknown, therefore no 22 deliveries.

It might be across the board of models , I have seen 22 x3s on the lots but none delivered yet.

All was cleared last Sunday. Just seating there waiting for the car carrier assign from NJ to Boston.

Yeah. I'm thinking there is a hold on all 2022 deliveries in US until the 2021s wind down.

I looked through a few pages, seems like people are going back and forth more about the color blue so searched 6MT, Manual and nothing came up. So Competition RWD and AWD still dont offer 6MT for 2022 models? Any future plans or rumors?

No. even in the future the Manual will be only in "pure" version and with the same power output (480hp)

you need to think about it this way: the "base" car IS the manual model and competition is the automatic model.

Other than transmission there are no differences between base and comp other than
-power reduction to accommodate the lower torque rating of the manual
-badges
-minor interior accommodations for the manual stick: slightly different console button layout, lack of NFC pad, and relocated wireless charger (which doesn't matter anyway as this option is removed due to chip shortages)

all other options can be configured on either car with the exception of xdrive as that is only compatible with the auto transmission

Forgot who said it a few weeks ago but I heard the issue is availability xdrive models for the press. I believe some European reviews are scheduled for September and US in October. Who knows!
