I've run the stock 18s on my E90 and F80 M3s, and couldn't be happier with the ride quality as a daily. Less teeth-clenching when I have to slalom the potholes!
I think the G80's 18/19s look great — simple, penta-parallel spoke design feels classic BMW. The 19/20" wheels — though impressive with their concavity — look too ornate and fussy to me. It's the same issue I had with the Satan rims. |

1. 21"/20" Mperformace wheels
2. 20"/19" 826M wheels Anything smaller on this car looks like something from the 70's.  Also anyone that's even the slightest bit serious about track use will have a dedicated set of track rims & semi slicks.

I will switch out the rears to a 295/30/20. A little more sidewall and would fit very well on the 10.5" wheel.
