Shit man. That's pretty horrible. My last x5 lease was about $70k, paying $750 month. $1k down. I'm a lease guy but I won't be leasing in times like these. There are absolutely no way to get any cap cost reductions to help with lease. My general rule of thumb for a good lease is the 1% rule (lease payment should be 1% of car's msrp). I've used This rule on every luxury car I've leased. But unfortunately it'll be a while before we can see those times again You're better off financing or using bmw select with the 0.9% rate they're offering

finance company assumes residual risk if times are crappy but the owner can take the upside in good times by buying it out. The finance company assumes risk of diminished value in accident which has happened to the last 2 of my wife's cars. Value dropped over $5,000 from people hitting into her and it wasn't bad. Finally, you pay tax only on the 43% depreciation. Either way, if you lease or finance, you are still paying for the depreciation each month. |

Is there information available online regarding BMW Select Financing? I'm specifically looking for the 0.9% rate with the balloon option.
Everything I find online is generic, mostly from dealers, not BMW NA |

enter the car you want, add on the cost of your options. It'll by default give you standard finance and lease. Then select 'Add new Option' and select BMW select.

The 0.9 is state specific from what I understand. I live in Virginia and it's 3.9 but when I put in another state, it comes up at 0.9 so I may just finance.

Interesting. When I select it, it adds it and defaults to $2500 down and shows the following. Try my zip code of 80138, see if it's related to location.

WTF are these cars really leasing at 1500/mo?
I have paid 1250 and 1350 over my last 2 leases on a F90 M5 and M6 Gran Coupe and these were 24 months leases, too, which are normally significantly higher than 36 month leases (even though I think I got great deals on both). Market is crazy right now.

I am not saying prices now are like that....they aren't. I'm sure M5's right now are north of $1500.

The M5 is a much better lease. My car is $20K cheaper than this, and the payment is still probably going to be lower. I specd this M5 with everything except CCBs. I even added M Drivers for $2,500. For reference, the 60 month loan, at 0.9% would be $2,031.

‘Early October’ is all my local dealer has been told. Monthly allocations are normally released around the 25th of the month, but presumably because of the myriad supply constraints, BMW USA postponed November allocations until they have a better idea of how much of what they may be able to produce.
