Does anyone know a good place to have my Blackvue Dashcam installed professionally here in Germany?

Also, it says it has a built in voltage monitor/shut off to prevent too much battery drain. Is this good enough or should I buy the optional battery pack as well?

I'm not sure of where you can get it installed in Germany, but the installation is pretty straightforward if you're interested in trying it yourself.

Regarding the optional battery pack, this would primarily be for powering the dashcam after the car has shut down. I went with two battery packs daisy chained together so that I've got many hours of power to the dashcam without draining the car battery.

I have the Blackvue Dashcam in front and back here in Germany. Installation took about 1 hour and was super easy. I also installed the external battery pack. My friend has an auto shop here that can do it too.

Get a battery pack if you can swing it. Prevents battery drain and ensures you always have proper parking mode recording with the battery dying and/or some kind of cut off from low voltage detection — or no parking recoring because you use a fuse that fully cuts power once the car shuts off.

PM me if you need the POC for the shop. I also bought my battery pack from a German vendor since you cannot have that battery shipped from the states. German customs won't allow it through.

For sure will send you a PM. I’m getting an Akrapovic exhaust ordered and installed (once it gets here), so it’ll be either in between order/ship or after installation when I look to get my Blackvue installed.

My guy can also get you that exhaust at cost straight from the vendor. He can also install it too.
