The M3/M4 are priced too high compared to an M2
I totally do not believe what the thread title says.
The mods are playing games here creating threads/erasing posts since this forum has little activity. I will stop posting on this forum altogether. Bye. Last edited by MaX PL; 11-30-2020 at 06:16 PM.. |

$90k for this car is insane. For $25k less you can buy an M2C that both looks and drives better. Incredible value relative to the M3.
Stripper is the only way I'd go on this car. Otherwise I just don't see the value and would just go M2. Though I understand some folks require 4 doors and don't have that option.

I don't understand why folks will say things like, "this car isn't worth $90k" or that you can get the M2C for significantly cheaper. You should ask yourself, how is the competition priced? If you're saying the G80/G82 isn't worth $90k (which is pretty much loaded btw), then you should also say the C63/RS5 aren't worth their fully optioned pricing either. Comparing it to an M2C just makes no sense, they're different class of cars.
The proper way to look at this would be, this is a $70k car, to which you could add $20k+ worth of options should you choose to. (Maybe you guys haven't heard of Porsche where you can practically double the price of the car in endless options). Would it be better if BMW simply didn't offer all of the options that drive the price up to $90k?

Others see it differently and find value in those extras. Neither perception is wrong. That's why both the M2 and M3 exist. At the end of the day we'll both be happy with our choices and that's all that matters

Ha then they’ll just complain about the lack of options from BMW. In all honesty, there’s a lot of included options which was surprising. |

The S58 engine in the G8x will set records again. Let's wait for the G8x CS and compare than. The M2CS is the best available M2 and you compare it to a stock G8x... |

An M2CS should be compared to an M4CS. So let's wait if we ever gonna have an G8x CS and go from there? |

Coming from a few M3's and then going to an M2c, regardless of what the market says, if you're comparing the M3/M4 to the M2c, the M2c is hands down the better buy for what you get. I never felt that going to the M2c made me miss anything I had in my previous M3's and that being said, I agree that the M3/M4 are overpriced vs what you can get with the M2c package.
