Chime in if you have a base model (MT) with M Carbon Bucket seats
I ordered an M3 with carbon bucket seats and manual transmission, but I can't find one to test drive. Is it comfy sitting and engaging the clutch with no issues? Please share your experience. I'm asking those with manual transmission specifically because you're constantly moving your left leg to press the clutch.
Thanks! |

I have owned bucket seats in cars, they are harder to get in and out at first then after a couple weeks/months you get used to it and do not even notice it.
Once you get used to them then drive in a regular sofa seat you will be amazed how awesome the bucket seats are and how much driver feedback the comfy seats loose in comparison. IMO the hassle factor goes away and you start to adore your more driver focused seats. For me 6MT and buckets are a must, but everyone has different priorities. GL |

Well I never feel uncomfortable when clutching. It's not like I have to move my leg.
Also brake and throttle goes pretty well. for me they are a must, insanely gorgeous and comfortable ! If you're a tank of course you will have issues (like frankiebones). Otherwise top, and i'm a little of a chubber. |

I have absolutely zero issues with clutch pedal engagement with the CF seats. Totally worth it IMO
If ingress/egress is an issue for you, consider saving a setting on your memory seat button for fully lowered/fully moved back if possible. I've noticed it has helped those that I've let drive my car FYI I'm 6'1" muscular build and I do not skip leg day |

My last vehicle a s550 mustang with recaro seats was just wondering the difference due to the bolster on the thighs and thing in the middle of the seat on the m3

I've driven the Mustang with Recaros and sat in the M3. The bottom bolsters are significantly higher in the M3. The middle piece was a bit weird for me. I'm sure you'd get used to it after a while but that was the only part I didn't like. I'll be getting the buckets for sure. Thought they were very comfortable. I'm 6' 200lbs.

Super comfy with bucket seats and manual. I drove my old gran coupe and it feels like I'm sitting in a beach bench in comparison
