I've been playing drums nearly 30 years and you got done chops man, watched a YouTube review of a RCP practice pad.
Thanks! I've developed a little YT following for pad reviews among other things.

We both almost got what we wanted. You wanted yas and I wanted laguna, but I think we are both thrilled with what we got just the same!

And I too have ZERO patience. The closer I got to getting the car the exponentially more painful it got!
My girlfriend and I have been together 9 months. I would wake up next to her and before acknowledging her, I would open the MarineVessel app and check where the Vessel was enroute to the USA. She learned a lot about me these past weeks haha.

Congrats. From the pics you've posted, it looks like the F.O. and silverstone interiors is a solid pairing. I went back and forth on the black versus silverstone pairing with F.O. for quite awhile before opting for the black.

Maybe its because I have only had the car for a couple of months at this point, but every morning I smile at the ridiculous orange beast in the driveway. F.O. is a great color for this car.

Thank you my man. I still have my CS for now as I may need surgery (again) on my right shoulder and don't want to get rid of my DCT just yet. I am very interested to hear your thoughts on the car, do you have any opportunities to get behind the wheel? The handling is awe inspiring.

Maybe I should indeed get a test drive. I've not bothered yet because a street test drive does not tell me much, but maybe I should do it anyway. On my side, I just sold my M4cs yesterday , I am quite sad as I really loved that car .

Will chime in on this. Congrats on the car, bright color choice that is for sure.

Regarding the manual, absolutely fantastic choice! Regarding the NYC bumper to bumper traffic, glad to hear other people don’t complain about driving stick. I have done it plenty of times, in the car and the motorcycle (whole different ball game on two wheels). Plus with stick, it keeps you engaged. Unlike most clowns who are on their phones texting or checking their instagram feeds. Interesting comments about the bucket seats, hopefully they break in a bit and you get comfortable.

Looking forward to getting more updates.

1 week in and this is the best car I've ever driven, let alone owned. I have repeatedly pushed it and have been able to throw the front end off only slightly.

My repeated conversations with my 3 year old son urging him NOT to kick the carbon fiber seatbacks have not yielded any results however.

I'm thinking about getting the backs PPF'ed.. Have you thought about doing that?

Yes I have. I am doing ceramic coating, PPF on the seat backs, and 50% tint. Unfortunately, I am having shoulder surgery on my right shoulder monday so I'll have plenty of time to do all this sh*t.

Since you’ve had the car for a little while, do you think the full leather is worth it over the standard leather? I’m on the fence.

You're asking the wrong guy my man. I didn't spare any expense with this one, nor did I try to. It looks amazing.

Jump over to the full leather side and don't look back. I am glad I got it. Steps up the interior IMO. I was a bit concerned having the lower dash orange and not black as every dash I have had has been black, but I really like it.

Having had the car 10 days and put 700 miles on her, I am baffled with the Harmon Kardon sound system. This is the worst sound system I have ever owned and it definitely is a downgrade from the F80 and F80 CS. The worst is I had an X7 loaner while my CS was in the shop (road debris damaged my bumper, thanks NYC) for a month and the sound system comparatively speaking is very poor.

The manual is starting to break in and get smoother. The car launches night and day better from the F80 and you can dump the clutch as high as 4k rpms and still grip almost immediately. The rear differential has none of the "clunky" sounds the F80 had on hard and sudden acceleration. The seats are amazing, they just take some getting used to. I am now reconsidering my decision to drive the car down the VA. I can absolutely sit in this car for extended periods of time without issue. I was in the car for 3 hours straight the other day with no issues.

Finally got around to taking pics of my G80 next to my F80 CS. Love them both but the G80 definitely out drives the CS.

Having shoulder surgery tomorrow so I'll be driving the CS (can't drive 6MT for a period or time TBD because it's right shoulder surgery). Looking forward to posting a better comparison review as I've put 1,000 miles on the G80 and roughly the next 1,000 miles will be in the F80 CS.

Congrats frankiebones ! Great pop of a color. Was eagerly awaiting your FO build, as it just seems like yesterday that you were battling NA special sales for the individual color approval.

Best of luck with your shoulder surgey, your way too young to have a 2nd shoulder arthroscopy.

Freak accident reinjured the same shoulder, what can you do. Just keep moving forward and keep lifting.

Dislocated? I dislocated mine 10 years ago and the pain seems to be getting worse. It has me worried about getting a 6MT again.
