Everyone is an expert except for the experts with a proven track record. Although none of that has anything to do with the exhaust sounding the way it does. It’s my understanding BMW made it quiet because they had to do it because of regulations. I don’t see anything wrong with making the vehicle sound better. As far as messing with the suspension, wheel size and offset I couldn’t agree more with you.
Front end height is dictated by EU regulations for pedestrian safety. Wheel offsets are dictated by global regulations to keep the wheels inside the fender in many geographies. A lot of parts are used to make a price point, not for ultimate performance. If there weren't gains to be had then BMW would race the stock configuration in Touring Car series.

I am not saying the PSI springs are good or bad. I too doubt they have had much time to do real testing or even measure stock spring rates to optimize this setup. They may have gotten pretty close on the first pass though so who knows? I personally would much rather be patient and wait for KW or MPE HAS setups, but that is just me.

If stock works for you great, but thinking that one size fits all for 75K buyers per year is pretty ego centric. If someone wants to glue pink felt over the entire car with Pokemon dioramas, go for it. Their car, their money, their choice and who are we to criticize?

On the ride height and exhaust, it's clear that we the customers generally want the car lower and louder...why don't they give it to us out of the box?

There are much louder cars out there from stock so I don't buy the regulations argument. You can make it louder and still pass an emissions test.

Maybe if the car is lower it would scrape the bottom coming in and out of parking garages but again it seems like they've made cars with smaller arch gaps before without issue.

It seems like these are two areas they could have improved out of the box and people would love the car even more.

Then again, no matter how low and loud the car is, lots of people would want more and a lot people always want to just mod cars no matter what

Looks great!

And it looks like you know what you're doing when it comes to lowering -- some just don't understand that most buyers are not chasing lap times, so as long as the comfort & handling with aftermarket springs is acceptable compared to stock we're satisfied The slight drop makes a big impact from an aesthetics standpoint

On the other hand I'm not sure why you would get a set of aftermarket wheels with the "wrong" offset and then correct it with spacers? Unless you already had those or got them at a steep discount?

BMW makes compromises for daily driving of the 99% who aren't looking to save that last fraction of lap time or desire a mild panic attack at every speedbump or ramp. Of course they could dial in the suspension some more or lower the ride height, but most of the customers don't want a ride that is too extreme or desire scraping their car because the clearance is too low.

People can modify to try and address that via their M-Performance parts or aftermarket parts. With regard to aftermarket some, not all, are already OEM suppliers or suppliers for their racing programs.

I will get some video today (need to find a friend to film) and post up for the groups benefit.

For those in Orlando there is an event this weekend that we are attending and happy to have folks see / hear the exhaust or even get a ride with the suspension to get your own take.
Where is this event taking place? If it's Sunday I will try to swing by.

They told me 3-5 weeks.

I'm on week 6 and no word.

It depends what the items are as with painted roundels we have such a high demand for them that the lead time is about 4-5 weeks currently.

Anything else that isnt custom would be done within 7-10 days.

On the G8X chassis we do have frozen white on hold currently as our paint mixture did not match customers cars. We had a customer send in a sample so we should have the color match completed this week.

With that said, please email or PM us with the order number so we can get you an exact date of completion. Email: support@ind-distribution.com

Thanks all. As requested here are the Titan7 wheel specs (below). To earlier comments. The reason we are running spacers + the wheels below was to see what works well so that going forward Titan7 (or others) could develop the perfect offset out the gate without any need for spacers. Someone has to put in the test work for us all to enjoy a plug and play product

Thanks for posting and being willing to do some of the early r&d on your car!

I know it may be hard to differentiate as you have several mods on together. But do you (or anyone else with a similar setup) have any thoughts on how the 20" square wheels changes the feeling or performance? Def improves the stance
