H&R Sport Springs for G80

So H&R has also released their sport springs for the G80 platform.
Front drop is 30 mm and rear is 10mm.

I called H&R and spoke to Jason, and he said to keep on the lookout over the next few weeks.

We haven't received them in the US yet, but many overseas retailers are already offering them for pre-order.

Those of you interested, the part number is 28616-1.

Cheers,

Mahir

Now this or the HAS kit? I feel like the KW HAS kit will ride smoother. Anyone have the spring rates?

If that price is correct the mark up on these are dumb. Springs should never cost that much unless this is a HAS kit. For that price you might as well get the KW HAS.

Like all of the G80 stuff, everything looks perfect except the price tag.

Not disagreeing with you here as you are the messenger but no way is the drop in the video just 10mm in the rear. The video looks like that car is much lower. 10mm is 4/10ths of an inch.

Here is my exact car in the rear- not sure about the rest of you but 4/10ths is bullshit (if one is looking to drop their car).

H&R did the same thing with the F90 M5... I got one of the first sets and their rear was 4/10ths (they had listed 1.2 inches on their site). For those of you who choose to drop your cars with their springs- make sure to vet their facts first.

This is also a favorable angle as its bit top to bottom in perspective.

Great drop if that’s the settled height! Piss poor pricing though.

So I dropped my car 25mm in the rear with MSS springs. The drop in the H&R video and my drop look the same(mine slightly lower).

.6inches is a big difference in the rear and I don't buy that it is 10mm either. I like that they are going for a rake though.

Where are they available? I'm told no availability on H&R until September and that was calling them directly.

I have gotten the same response. Tire Rack has 'em for $360, but not shipping until August/Sept.
