That is what the manual says that came with the springs but it could also be generic instructions they give for all sets. I am gonna do 30 front and 25 rear to start

Any recommendations of initial adjuster settings for a 1" front drop and .25" rear drop? Trying to minimize # of times I'll need to readjust, especially if this involves lowering arms for the rears.

I see you are in Seattle, why not hit up Cantrell or Truline in Bellevue to help dial in alignment. They are good at setting up for track etc.

Thanks for reply and recommendation. I was actually referring to initial spring height adjuster settings for a 1" front drop and .25" rear drop. Was hoping Imran@Evolve would have some suggestions.

Great question, I am installing mine tomorrow and plan to set the adjusters to the max height and then use calipers to measure 30mm for front ant 25mm for rear on my first go. I will do fender measurements pre and post and let you know.

Are you planning to even out the gaps front and rear? The oem height gaps are not equal on the G8X.

I know some that lower, that like to keep the drops static front and rear which keeps the gaps slightly different.

I am gonna go 5-10mm lower in the front. I want it to be slightly more raked/or equal. I will probably do with 5mm first, drive it for a 100 miles and if I am happy, then I will go ahead and get it aligned.

Great! I have my tracking number but my car won't be in until early July.

If it's not too much to ask, could you please take a few pics and measurements of where you set the height of the spring?

I'm assuming that max top setting would be stock for both front and rear and you would adjust the height lower to preference. Would just like to confirm my assumption to avoid readjusting after the first try.

Edit: hadn't read the rest of the thread before I commented. Thanks!

You're gonna have to measure the drop from the center of your wheels to the fender top. Don't measure from the adjusters. They will also settle so I would aim for a higher drop initially. Good luck and take some pics for us

Guys - wind the adjusters down to max lowering then measure up from there.

Testing with Bilstein Damptronic - if and when they release we will for sure.

For the Bilstein? Not sure - have not looked at where the EDC plugs go into the damper myself.

The install was super easy so if a shop quotes you at 500+ in the Seattle area, they are charging too much.

We ran into a problem were the fronts did not lower much at all when the adjusters were set to the lowest setting. Going to wait if it settles a bit and go from there. We will be adjusting the rear height on Sunday as the rear is sitting too low for my taste. Once I have the heights dialed in, I will take measurements of the adjusters gaps so people can refer to that.
