I get to see and maybe test drive my Fire Orange today (once the dealer gets the title after the weekend I can actually take delivery). I just needed to tell someone that, it has no bearing on this thread.

That lip looks incredible but the CF lip will not work with the black stock skirts. Someone needs to come up with a less ricer-ish skirts and then I can do that and some side skirts OR I can wrap the black stock skirts with CF weave and do that lip.

Love the pic of all the parts laid out on the floor, provides a good look at each one.
I've got the CF lip and side blades on order with IND. Very close to pulling the trigger on the rear winglets but it still annoys me that they don't line up with the side blades. The wing on its own is nice looking but doesn't look right on a sedan and seems better fitted for the overall coupe styling.

Morbid curiosity has me wondering how a G8x would look with a black 1000M in front and a black 826M on the rear. There are obviously big differences in the styling, but they are in the same "family" of wheel design.
Why would you do this rather than just getting four matching 20" wheels in a similar style you may ask? Well, like I say, morbid curiosity. And, also because 1000 + 826 is 1826 which is the year that Samuel Morey patented the internal combustion engine in the US according to the internets. And I'm hoping that that sounds just logical enough that you forgot what we were even talking about. |

A little too much for my taste but at least they did not opt for the M performance exhaust and silly looking diffuser!

I love the color, but the new M perf. catalogue is a big disappointment this time around IMO. Way too F&F. I do like the front lip though.

Seriously, who did they fire on the design team? This has gotten out of hand.

The more I see the G80 the more I think the side skirts totally ruin the shape of the car. Has anyone removed them?

Beautiful color. I do not mind the performance parts honesty although they clearly are not subtle. My one gripe are the winglets on the front fenders. Very Hello Kitty to me for some reason.
