I’ve never liked the red calipers, so I decided to paint match them. I’ve paid professionals to paint calipers and powdercoat calipers before, and have had issues with both. So rather than spend the money and complain about the money I spent, I’ve taken it upon myself to paint them so I could only complain about myself. I had contemplated other colors, but paint matching allows me to have more wheel finish options when that time comes.

It’s a pretty straightforward process, albeit time consuming. Prep is everything! Cover the car and any items you’re concerned with overspray. Sand. Prime (3 coats,). Paint (3 coats). Apply decals. Clear (4 coats). This is the 3rd set of calipers I’ve painted and am pretty happy with the results.

The results look excellent & this turned out better than I thought it would. You're certainly a much better painter than me & have more patience too.

Got it back from ppf, carbon ceramic coating outside and on leather and 30 percent tint. Love this color so much!!!

Drove to Baltimore from Richmond to take delivery, spent forever taping to protect against rock chips, and directly to my shop the following morning for PPF, ceramic and tint. They sent me the pics without tape this week while I was out of town for work.

That's crazy cool to see what some of the in-direct reflections did to the paint on front edge of the hood here.

I had a IOMG M3 2021, same spec as your m4. I got a 2023 dravit m4 without buckets and Have a 25 IOMG M4 in production rn same spec as yours. I missed my IOM with orange buckets haha
