Turns out I had a warped disc for sure. Currently the engagement point is super low, like everyone else has reported. So, I have faith the engagement WILL improve as I drive it.

Hopefully anyone that's been waiting to install theirs can breathe a little easier now that I've gone through the headache and the expense for you.

I’ll definitely report back after some miles.

As for advice? What can I say besides throw out on low and if it doesn’t shift into 1st with the engine on: don’t drop trans 3 times. You have a warped disc and need replacement lol.

But luckily it seems like I’m the first case. So don’t stress it.

Yes that’s why I had parts warrantied.

Glad things worked out well for you, and yes - the low engagement point goes away as the clutch breaks in after about 500-600 miles. Taking off the BMS clutch stop helped tremendously too.

Hey everyone!

This will be my last update to my clutch saga.

I removed the white grommet clutch stop and everything feels like normal. Engagement point is gradually improving and all gears are accessible.

If you’re on the fence, rest easy. Performance plate works. Definitely remove that grommet though if you already have a PTB clutch and are still getting notchy shifts.

Currently just running BM3 OTS maps with flex fuel. I was waiting to get my clutch sorted before custom tuning and eventually upgrading turbos, etc.

I’m also waiting for PURE to announce their 6MT builds.
