I was hoping to just buy a new set of filters for my MST intake, but they don't seem to be available for purchase online anywhere. So I may have to wash and re-oil my filters someday, just like a commoner.

I chose the MSTs over BMS…deciding factor (for me) was the heat shields. Liked that look much better.

With the MST setup you can definitely hear the woooosh of the air getting sucked in from engine bay up front…couple that with a mid-pipe to add a little more rumble from the back….pure joy.

Still no way to buy replacement BW-S5801 filters for the MST intake? It seems every single other intake has replacement filters available except for this product.

Get your measurements and then just buy an AFE dry filter in those same dimensions. Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.

I'm just wondering why it's impossible to get replacement filters for this specific intake. Every other intake seems to have them available.

Dont know, but I recommend you check with the manufacturer if you really want to know.

Thanks. You would think I would've thought of that on my own. I found a link on the MST-Performance.com website to send them a message, so we'll see what kind of response I get.

In case anyone else cares, I got a reply and was given this part number: OFI-89115OP. And I was directed to contact MST USA at their website: https://mst-performanceusa.com

The only problem is, this website doesn't seem to respond. So I poked around on MST Performance's Instagram page and found a post that says, "Starting from January 1st, 2024, Kies Motorsports will be appointed as MST's master distributor for the USA & Canada."

And, of course, this item is out of stock when I visit Kies Motorsports' website. SMH. Oh, the product page on Kies' website for this intake also doesn't show that it's for the M4's intake (BW-S5801). So, now I'm going to email Kies to get the scoop.

Ok, I've got a direct link now to order a set of these. And....their website says they don't ship to Alaska. Grrrrr!!!! It won't let me order a set. So I've sent them another email.

Anyway, here's the link for other people who don't live in one of the "freak" states:

Hooray! Kies customer support created a custom invoice so that I could place an order. And with free shipping to Alaska through USPS.

My long struggle has ended.
