Do you have a link? we don't sell reflex so I'm not too familiar with their customer experiences

There is a firmware fix for the Motiv if it is not working correctly. The harness choice is also very key.

Jeeeeeez, that’s brutal
I’ve used reflex for port and lpfp in my Supra g80 and g82 with no issues but I still had that feeling in my spine knowing I have no fail safe and could go boom on any pull. Definitely get the plug and play harness not the splicing wires rout lol

I’m not a fan of plug and play they all seem to have issues

Nice build, which Kelford cams did you go with? I've read a few posts on IG where the B cams pickup 30-50whp on a tuned stock turbo setup. I'd assume much more on a built setup. How's the idle quality?

Interested to know this as well considering the Stage 1 Kelfords for the B58 have slightly less specs than even the stock S58 cams do. It would be nice if Kelford would have put up dyno runs with their cams vs stock on the same engine setup so people could get a good idea of how much and were the power moves to depending on which stage they pick. Sure, VVT can be used to shift that around a tiny bit, but there will always be a user need for a responsive and quick midrange setup than flat out top end narrow power.

I’m guessing he probably went Stage 2 if he wanted over 1000HP final goal.

I'd be surprised if he went with stage 1/A spec cams from Kelford. Kelford themselves, after I reached out to them, say to go with their B spec cams if you're pushing more than 700whp. You gain 70whp from just their cams, and 100whp from a tune.

Yes, they are the 358-B Stage 2. I was over 1000 on stock cams, these seem to pick up a lot on the big end. When I originally had my motor built no one had cams for the S58.

Do you happen to have a comparison dyno chart between original cams and the Stage 2 ones?

I do not, I could never get it to run right with the Motiv but there's a graph on kelfords site. It is kinda blurry but I have seen a few drop in with no tuning revisions pick up around 50whp. They come alive over the 5k rpm mark.

If someone builds a high revving stroker motor (5150 claims 9500 rpm on their kit) with these cams it's going to be a monster lol
