It's a great tribute with some classic cars, but probably 30-60 minutes is sufficient there.
Thanks... so no need to book a separate plant tour then right?

Who knows when my time will come... but nothing to stop me from planning out my PCD experience months in advance

Track time and Factory tour are a part of PCD itinerary. Most people visit Zenteum right after taking delivery and cover it at their own pace.

Correct, nothing to book at BMW, unless you're looking to add an M School or something like that (which I'm trying to do, not very easily).

Time permitting, I'm thinking about stopping at the CCA Museum nearby, which recently (re-)opened, though I doubt reservations are needed there. https://theultimatedrivingmuseum.org/

Awesome, thanks. I might visit the Zentrum the following day and group that with a visit to the CCA museum. Want to get the car dropped off to extreme colors ASAP after PCD.

I definitely recommended visiting the cca museum. I did it the following day as I was awaiting extreme color auto spa to finish my ppf before the drive home. You just show up and walk through the museum. Had my son, wife and dad with so we were able to enjoy it before the drive home.

When you do Performance Center delivery you also get a 20% off for booking a track day within 90 days. Don't have to use it for a year they stated.

Congrats! They just told me no on July 15th too. Got offered the 8th but still wanted the tour. So July 14th it is. Still there is no bad way to have an M car delivered.

For sure no bad way of getting your M3 after for me almost a year wait The mom the tours would have been a nice addition, however leaving the country for 20 days inn couple of weeks and this will give me the perfect time to leave my car to get the PPF ceramic tent and install all the upgrade while I'm overseas

Hi VJ!

Very helpful thread! Would you mind PMing the PPF info to me as well? I have my first BMW coming in a month or so and plan on doing the PCD. I will also be making a similar trip back to metro Detroit after and would like to plan for protecting the paint. Thanks!

Just signed all my paper work for my g83 today. Pick it up from PCD on July 14th. So I just got access to the car in my bmw and noticed it had 56 miles already. Is this normal? For other who have done it, approximately how many miles where on your car?

Mine had 18 miles on the clock and i thought that was on the higher side. My G80 had several logistic delays and they might have driven around factory & port storages.

I have 32 on mine

If the car was full on gas when it left the factory those are some hard miles considering it have less than a third of a tank left.

From production to deliver will be 17 weeks. Do they test the cars on a Dino at the factory and does that count. I'm just still surprised. With over 50.

Cars are never shipped with full gas of tank from the factory. They are typically filled with a bare minimum which is required for logistics.

Wow… 56? Mine had 18 and I thought it was high. They must have been trying to diagnose something is all I can think for them to need to put 30ish miles on your car past what is "normal"

I'm from VA and Va requires a state inspection. Does the Performance center take care of the inspection sticker too or does the car have to be taken back to the dealer?

PC doesn't do anything other than delivering the car to you and walk you through all the In and Out's of your new toy on top of the experience of driving on their track. I had to have mine inspected in Texas ones it arrived.
