My xDrive is currently "at port". No idea how long shipping from Germany to US takes, then clearing customs, etc. But I suspect sometime in September.

Historically it used to be about 8 weeks from start of production

Go over to the pricing… section. A few members cars are already at port in the US just waiting for BMWNA to approve the official release of the AWD cars. Could be this or next month…

The new norm for BMW is now 12 weeks from order to delivery and more for Porsche, last month I was quoted 4 months for a 2022 Macan GTS.

Mines been at VPC in US ready to be delivered since 7/23. Just waiting for BMW USA to approve the rollout here.

6 months to a year. In my case it will be 9 months total.

Anyway, I'm getting so impatient with BMW not releasing the AWD to the press so we can see real world testing against other cars. I want to see the testing of the rwd mode with 10 stage tc.
I want to see the launches against Tesla.
I want to see rolling races against the RWD version G8x.
I want hot laps of the rwd vs awd. I think joe achilles will do that.

I think they are giving time for the RWD to do more sales (and perhaps clear stock and backlog).
