Help - Holograms in BSM - User Error?

Hey guys, would love some help with this.

Took some time and decided to start doing some polishing on my M4. I'm fighting a lot of holograms on the trunk.

Using:
Griots DA Polisher
Meguiars M105 and Griots MF Pad
Meguiars M205 and Griots Orange Correcting Pad

Originally started with 2-3 passes on a 18x18in area, low/moderate pressure. I completed the trunk with 105, and when I moved to 205 realized that there were tons of holograms after. At first I thought it was because maybe the M205 and correcting pad were old, so I replaced them both and tried again with the same results. I've attached a picture.

I've polished some cars before without any issues, I'm wondering if maybe BSM is just too soft? Or maybe Im doing something wrong.

Thanks

I'd try a softer finishing pad and a lighter 3rd or even 4th pass. 205 is usually very forgiving but pad dependent.

M105 and a mf pad is a pretty aggressive combo… any particular reason you started with that?
