Took delivery of my first M... I've always had pretty boring colors on my cars, so thought I'd change it up a bit and went with Twilight Purple. Very dynamic color, it looks very different depending on angle and lighting conditions. But I like it.. maybe prefer it a little darker, but it's still a keeper.

Congrats! TP has grown on me. The more I see it the more I like it. Bold choice my friend. My build (Individual Riviera Blue) just arrived at the dealer yesterday. I will be finalizing everything later today and depending on when they finish adding some of the tidbits that I am having them do maybe pick it up tomorrow or beginning of next week!

Interesting, does the rear spoiler come body color matched when you get the sunroof?

I got a big CF spoiler to replace the OEM, as well as CF air intake replacement to get rid of that chickenwire.

If you option the "Extended Shadowline Trim" on the manual M3, the mirror caps, exhaust tips, and spoiler are all black. If you don't, the exhaust tips stay chrome (like the badge) and the spoiler and mirror caps are color matched. On the Competitions, Extended Shadowline Trim is standard and you can add a deletion to color match the spoiler and mirror caps, and get chrome exhaust tips (badges stay black).

This color is great! Awesome choice going with the normal standard colors! What’s the interior choice?

I wish it were a standard color - well, maybe not since I like having something fairly exclusive. But it wasn't a cheap option.

Interior is just black. Probably should have gone with Tartufo but I wasn't 100% sure how it would look with purple. And the light colors I was afraid would stain from my jeans.

Makes me wonder how it'll look with the window trims all in chrome. hmm...

I didn’t get to pick my own colour as I found a brand new unit fully loaded on the lot that someone had ordered, but couldn’t afford to get and I am not sure if I would pick the purple one if I was ordering my own car from the get go. But this thread has inspired me and I ended up ordering ultra Matt black purple vinyl wrap, which should come in a couple of weeks and be on the car. My original colour is skyscraper grey metallic, which I like quite a bit, but I typically fully expel stealth all my cars for protection and a bit of a colour change from gloss to satin. But this time I decided to do a full colour change and ordered that matte black purple vinyl. Will make a separate thread when the car is done and keep everyone posted.

This is what it is supposed to look like (ultra matte black purple). So still has shades of purple but a little more subtle which is how I wanted it. I'd imagine it will look way better on a M3 with more aggressive body lines and what not popping up more.
