I am looking to buy a CPO X3. This is my first car in the US.
I have mostly done online research till now, so looking for some guidance on a CPO purchase and dealers in the NY/NJ area.

1. Dealers in NY/NJ

BMW of Freeport seems to have quite a few available models. Just wondering how good they are in terms of reliability of CPO cars, purchase experience and pricing.

I checked a couple of cars at BMW Brooklyn but haven't seen good reviews for them.
BMW Park Avenue in NJ hasn't been helpful. All their cars are in service for 2-3 weeks.


2. Pre-Purchase Inspection
Should I get a pre-purchase inspection for CPO car? Especially, how reliable is Freeport if I decide to buy trusting their certification only?

In case of inspection, are there any recommendations in the area?


3. Warranty
Most dealerships are offering 1 year CPO warranty post expiration of new car warranty. Should I buy any other extended warranty at this point?


4. Any other tips on what to look for in a CPO vehicle or purchase process.
