Build Week 45

After doing some research on Laser Lights, I probably shouldn't have included it in my build since it only works for High Beam, which I never use. I have to admit, that bluish look to them does lend to a pretty cool looking front-end. Really wish bmw specified what laser lights were for in the vehicle, but my fault for not clarifying with the dealer. Maybe regulations lets up in the near future and we see it implemented for low-beam use in the form of an update?

Agreed on the look, lasers have a great look. I didn’t option them since I figured the standard lights had enough power especially considering the lasers are neutered in the US based on current regulations (which could change tho). Also spent my budget on other accessories I felt were more important.

Mine has gone from:
In the paint booth > Entering the Assembly line > Assembly in Progress
since yesterday morning, hopefully it'll get to Final Assembly/Ready for transport over the next day or so.

Entering assembly today! Finally since order went in the last week of July? Need to order some winter wheels so I can drive home from the dealer in January.

I advanced to QC as well. I'm in Raleigh, NC with offload expected in Brunswick, GA. We may be on the same ship.

That's awesome, which dealer are you working with? Hopefully you get to port soon and we get on a boat ASAP! I wasn't sure what port we would be getting into, what makes you think Brunswick?

My dealer sent me a screenshot that shows my port as SSIPOA, which is the Port of Brunswick.

Same dealer and I just noticed SSIPOA in my screenshots too

I am still sitting in Dispatched from Factory but I figured that step could take a few days to update.

The rendering is correct...I chose red calipers for my build.

Yeah, I did as well (and another here) and they changed to blue for me yesterday. Thought it was a glitch in the render on the site, but yours is showing red.

I spoke with Genius earlier and it doesn't look like my VIN has any stop sales associated with it...he mentioned they'd likely have shown up once the car is out of the factory. Any one else seeing similar or different results using Alex_Bond's recall tool (https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/) or BMW's (https://www.bmwusa.com/safety-and-emission-recalls.html) ?

Not showing any either, but I'm not 100% sure that means anything. If I don't have any stop sales, I'll be happy, but I am expecting them anyway.

M4cx. Been in Quality Check since Monday. Think someone in this thread mentioned it took 3 days to move to Final Assembly, but have passed that.
