It will be very limited. You cannot order one, if you dont have a pretty remarkable history of already owned M cars. And most dealers wont even get one for starters.

When did BMW produce a car and basically chose its customers like this ? What are your sources for this ?

Colleagues directly out of BMW M germany and my dealer who told me he will get one, one only and has to send all VIN numbers of interested peoples M cars purchased to BMW.
So if you only owned one M until now, money wont do it. Besides, the car will be 200k+.

Still driving the X3M and M4 gts.
Might change my mind when I see the price but why not?

You also might change your mind when you see the car. It has a very particular design. Much different from the "normal" G82.

I love the design and have read every article I could find on it.
Great videos on u-tube under CSL hommage.
Not a fan of the g82 design so that works for me.

Whatever the price will be in the US, it'll be twice as much in Australia - for all 5 or 6 of them they might send our way

At some point, (maybe $150K or slightly higher), the M4 CSL becomes too much money for a BMW. The similar M4 GTS had a original MSRP of $133K in 2016 so that is the bear minimum. Plus with inflation, limited edition, I would not be surprised at a high price. All these new sports cars, GT3, GT4 RS, and even the M2 CS were priced at least $10-15K higher than what people speculated.

Lemme put this into perspective. Stock this car is gonna rip the same ring time as a 991.2 gt3. With negligible mods will be able to take a huracan on a roll. And you can daily it. Plus its gonna be limited and look bad ass. I also have a gt3 touring in production right now and this has me equally excited (almost). Its gonna be epic because the g8x platform is already epic and this takes it to the nuclear level. Looking forward to see what its like

I think what you're suggesting might apply to the 6MT M4 GT Homage - but not so much the CSL

Can anyone confirm fit of the Thule aero bars and what fit kit I might need? I know there is another forum post with the g80 would that fit onto the g82 as well?
