yeah you are, but anyway your opinion means absolutely nothing to me.
this is my son's car, he reps his high school, the gold wheels were his choice, it's his toy, his money, he could do whatever he wants with it. as long as he likes the way his car looks, that's all that really matters.

you're absolutely right about the CarMax thing, nobody is gonna know what it is, but since you roll in an old F80, you must know all about Carmax.

This is the first thing that gets done when I get to any dealership. The last thing I want is someone with a dirty water bucket and a $2 Chamois, touching my car. When I take delivery, leave the shipping plastic on it. Im either getting it towed to get it detailed, or doing it myself.

I’m right there with you but ///AVM has said many times that he’s totally fine with the complimentary washes as he’s not into the OCD levels of car cleaning as many of us.

Cars mean different things to different people.

As you state, I respect that everyone enjoys their vehicles in different ways . . . and that I am on the lonely end of the spectrum when it comes to concerns pertaining to aesthetic maintenance.

Some enthusiasts enjoy washing, waxing, . . . spending time working on their cars. I get that.

For the record, I think it would be great if my vehicle could always look like the day I drove it off the lot . . . I am simply not interested in trying to keep up with the roadways and elements.

I prefer spending time with my vehicle behind the wheel. . . and letting BMW perform the washes.

Green is one of the least seen car colors on the road. This shade of green, even more so which is why I like it too. No matter how dirty it's gotten, rain or shine, it still looks great.

Thank you! actually there weren't a lot of lights, rather dimly lit street (17th and Beall area in the Heights here). I was hanging out with some friends but it just looks good no matter the lighting.

A longer exposure helped brighten to the pic
