Just a couple of guys out for a Saturday drive. Both of my friends here were not fans of the grille when they first saw my G80. However, after being up their asses for 5 hours on backroads they both said their perceptions have changed and they love the aggressive-ness of it.

Also found a looooong stretch of open two lane road and was able to find the speed limiter. It got there much faster than expected and the car is a lot more stable than my F87 was at speed.

I also felt a lot less fatigued after a drive of this length compared to my F87. I don't know if it is because the longer wheelbase, the seats (with ventilation), the smoother ride, the quieter exhaust or a combination of all 4 but normally after this route I'm dead tired and I felt this time like I could go back and do it all again.

Very nice. Sorry I was way off about the sizes. This wheels choice is a nice option among the vast sea of competition wheels.
Added 10mm spacers to the rear to even it out new offset is +10

I went with a friend to a BMW meet last weekend that was held in out in the hinterlands about 90 miles from home. Early morning trek down country roads followed by linking in with others for a cruise to the actual event site, and then we basically stood around in the sun for 4 hours before driving home.

Not a very long drive, but I was assuming that I'd be a bit of a wreck after getting cooked and then having to get home...but it wasn't the case. We aren't young, stuff like this takes more out of you when you've said goodbye to your 40's than it does in your 20's.

The base seats are so comfortable that I recovered from standing around in the sun on the drive back. My M2C's seats would have done me in. I've said it before...these are the best daily-driver-but-still-sporty-enough seats I've ever had.

So you see, I am not a track racer or a pro; the Pirellis do the job IMHO based on how I drive and where. I still rip the car hard when I do drive it but its ok if I get the P's again.

The ride is great with MSS--- an excellent linear spring with limited compression and rebound even under heavy speeds and cornering.
