Love what you did. Fun to see how polarizing the wheels are in the comments - I hope you love them, that’s what matters. I think they work great on your ride - and it’s one of the cleanest I’ve seen.

Could you share more about the plate? I saw you mentioned you have another one in the vehicle just in case, got pulled over once with a verbal warning, and also that the plate is wrapped.

I saw something similar in Florida recently (vacation) and considered doing it back home (Ohio). Our new plate design in Ohio is atrocious and a total eye sore. I had thought of taping off then plasti-dipping my plate.

I see that you wrapped the plate, but how did you get a second plate from the NC DMV in the first place? Did you just call and tell them you lost the one you had?

I hope to see this thing driving around some day!

I told them it was fading when I renewed last year and they sent me a new one. No charge. 😉
