People at track days are usually very nice to interact with, though.
I agree 100%

Back in the day meets were more fun but I stopped going to them for at least a decade now because of the reasons you state above. Gone are the days where you go to a casual meet to chat with another grown up enthusiast and BS about cars.

Instead all you have now is the "yo bra...what tune you got? how much hp? wanna run... crowd" The typical BMW clientele here in the east coast are ghetto young kids with their stupid burble tunes. I am by no means saying younger folks that can legitimately afford these cars shouldn't have them but being young isn't an excuse for being stupid or disrespectful. Back in the day seeing another nice BMW on the road you usually get/give a thumbs up. Now? I get the instant erratic behavior where the other owner feels compelled to show me just how much faster their car is by driving like an idiot to pass me.

Well done.

But 4 pages before the buff out line? New record.

It's just a car. No different than a Lexus crashing. They are making them everyday.

Almost looks like a deer was tagged. Seems like a relatively minor incident. Just a bunch of lightly crumpled body work, really. I'm sure the driver and any passengers are okay as long as they were wearing their seat belt.

Can't believe 6 pages of dick comments when it's all speculation so far... who needs to grow up again?

Like someone else said, everyone is a comedian or pro driver until it happens to them!

this is what happens when you read one to many comparison between the M3/M4 and Porsche 911. You exit the long the straight and hit the twisty parts of the track just as your favorite jam comes on the radio. TURN IT UP!!

No you cant!

Why? Let Darwin do his thing. We'd all benefit. Lower insurance rates, less competition for really nice cars, more showing up on Bring-a-Trailer in 10 years.

Remember that Crazy Rich Azzhat who wrecked the irreplaceable Porsche Carrera GT a while back, repeatedly running into parked cars till the cops finally stopped him, trying to drive away on a wrecked suspension and fully deflated tires? That SOB got acquitted a couple weeks back; Mommy and Daddy back in China must have greased the right palms.

F all these idiots.

Well some people would rather drive an ugly car just because it is different?

The difference here is that people who bought F13 M6 are (in average) 10-20 years older than those are buying G80x ...
At these power to weight ratio these cars are extremely dangerous for people dont have skill and maturity of driving her!!!
Just my 2 cents!!!
True but there is hardly any difference between the pwr/weight ratio between the F8* comps and the G8* comps all around 275-285/tonne (PS)

M3/4 getting binned via youthful exuberance is nothing new.
Agreed!
