I have a good sommelier on staff who takes care of these things. He and the chef sometimes don't see eye to eye on what wine they want with a certain meal, but I let them settle it the old fashioned way; fight to the death.

Here's my latest scare for the day ...I parked my car outside the garage with the intent to wash it, but a thunderstorm rolled in and I barely got the car inside the garage again before it got all wet. Now I have to wait for the storm to pass. Not like I can drive anywhere now either.
I don't know why I bother getting up in the morning sometimes.

We recently tried to fly out of the local airport (which is still an hour away) and because there had been a very nasty and destructive hail storm there recently, we took Wifey's 8 y.o. Honda to leave there for a week. Well they cancelled our flight to O'Hare, so we had to drive up to O'Hare in Wifey's shitbox Civic with no charging devices or hands-free stuff and very noisy tires. Then when came back we had to drive it home. That sucked. Although on the bright side, at least my C300 wasn't subjected to abuse in the O'Hare parking garage for a week.

We just had a fire drill. The drill was expected to start at 10.00am. Well, to my surprise they sounded the alarms at 9:30. Let’s just say that I was “indisposed” at the moment.

Mother of god! I just read that a landscaper just fell into an industrial sized wood chipper. Now that’s a man with problems. Needless to say he didn’t make it.

Teach me where to find someone like that, master... I can't get my then-girlfriend to take the day off to go to the cemetery for my father's burial, despite it being her request since I didn't quite mind having his ashes in the house but she made a big fuss about it. I'd stop bickering, but this thread IS about bickering

Unless the socks were ALL you had on, I think my respect just fell a bit.
My wife looks a bit older, but I think she (and her sisters) cook better, as I munch tacos de pappas and beans from last night. |

Dentist office didn't have Wi-Fi and then I had to listen to the second half of the game on am radio driving under all kinds of power lines across the lanes where traffic was moving better.

So, I got a "'Buy one pizza get one free" with a loophole to get an additional free pizza, and all was fine and dandy until I pulled onto a major intersection to pick up my "down payment" pizza, then "blonnnnng!" Had to go patch the right rear tire
Oh, and today was the first time I've ever ran into a sliding door ... But in all fairness I usually keep the curtains closed to reduce insects during the day, but I forgot that I closed it. Oh... Kay... @Litos , where did you buy those socks?
